Wild at Heart LIVE—Group Study

Follow

The Wild at Heart Boot Camp Live DVDs are in-depth DVDs and is the direct footage from an actual Boot Camp. This would be more of an experience you would offer the men in your group or ideal for putting on a weekend retreat of your own. It includes film clip titles and time codes, but it does not include the actual film clips, nor a Facilitator's Guide. The leader would need to allow prayer time and facilitate discussion after each session, which can be a rich experience.

We  also recommended the How to Do a Men’s Retreat Boot Camp Kit to accommodate the Wild at Heart LIve DVD's for the leader’s reference. It does not include teaching points, but it does include:

  • Our philosophy and core values
  • Detailed logistics (Yes, it can be done!)
  • Director’s Cuts 12 CD set of a full four day “Wild at Heart Boot Camp” (Includes behind the scene commentary by John Eldredge and the Ransomed Heart Team)
  • An outline of all the music and film clip ideas (actual movie clips not included) with time codes
  • Documents to customize your event  (on CD)
  • Personal words of wisdom from the RH Men’s Team  (on CD)

Here is some information we like to pass on which explains the difference between this Wild at Heart LIVE series and The Wild at Heart: Band of Brothers as we are often asked:

The Wild at Heart: Band of Brothers.series is an ideal place to start with a small group. There are several different ways to journey through the content which includes the book Wild at Heart, a Participant's Guide, and a DVD series.  The video series is presented in eight parts – each about 35 minutes long. This study could be done in eight weeks, or, because the content is prone to generate good discussion, and the leader may be inspired to throw in some other movie clips or linger on specific sections, it could easily last longer. And there are several other ideas for the logistics of leading a group listed in the facilitator's guide that comes with the Band of Brothers.

As mentioned above, The Wild at Heart Boot Camp LIVE DVDs are a bit more in-depth. It is the direct footage from an actual Boot Camp. This would be more of an experience you would offer the men.

In summary, either resource will have an impact. The Wild at Heart: Band of Brothers has more structure and more resources to assist the leader. The Wild at Heart Boot Camp LIVE is more experiential and with less structure to assist the leader.
